| Role Definition | : | Roles at this level are responsible for preparing accurate estimates of Small/Product Plants/ Medium sized projects (E/EP/EPF/EPC) by gathering infromation and analyzing metrics |
| Key Role & Responsibility | : | Operational -Studies and reviews tender specifications, data, drawing and commercial terms & conditions of the tender -Determines the project costs by calculating labor, material and related costs -Carries out estimation for piping & civil based on MTO received from Engineering -Negotiates price during the proposal phase -Prepares cost effective commercial proposals for the tenders - Evaluate risk assessment for proposal and calculate contingencies - Align with proposal manager for proposal strategy and supports sales team to prepare a winning bid - Estimate applicables taxes and duties, foreign exchange variations, impact of import/export, on-shore/off-shore split Stakeholder Management -Coordinates with various departments for inputs regarding project costing -Participates in construction cost meetings and finally formulates the construction cost - Coordinates with global estimation team for their inputs in overall cost sheets Data base Management -Conducts research, prepares and maintains a database of benchmarks and cost -Investigates and maintains an updated market price for the key raw materials -Identifies labour, material and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications and related documents |
