Key Role & Responsibility |
: |
Proposal & Project Execution
- Create concepts, execution plans to provide robust technical and cost effective solutions specific to the project / customer
- Analyse contract and examine relevant scope and interfaces
- Early identification of risks and implement mitigations
- Participate in budget and execution schedule review
- Estimate cost and concept for proposals
- Deliver quality deliverable and control budget and schedule
- Develop cost effective, quality and HSE related concepts and solutions
- Review critical calculations, specifications, concepts and approve project deliverables
- Manage large size, complex project / proposal independently or supervise and manage multiple smaller projects / proposal teams independently
Interface Management & Alignment
- Co-ordinate with other EN disciplines and functions, vendors, sub-contractors, clients, PMC and entities
- Co-ordinate and supervise quality of the the team and external partners
- Work with matrix organization ie. reporting to Project/Engineering Managers for project matters and Line Managers for functional matters
Development & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute towards organizational quality, training and improvement initiatives and implementation in the projects, proposals
- Participate as auditee during internal and external process and technical audits and accountable for closure of audit, implementation of preventive and corrective actions
- Conduct technical meetings with the department for know-how backflow and lessons learnt
People Management
- Plan, manage resources including task assignment to project team members within the project
- Monitor, coach and develop team to enhance overall capabilities
Additional Tasks
- Support DH in administrative tasks, recruitment, learning and development, department competency enhancement |

1. Bachelor of Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with 15+ years or Diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering with 20+ years of experience 2. Site experience will be an added advantage |

Independent execution & management of the detail engineering, specification, procurement assistance, execution tasks up to end of engineering scope.
Prepare project execution strategies
Identify & perform department specific Risk management
Review, approve, guide and supervise basic and detail engineering, ensure compliance to contractual requirements, design basis, codes & standards, local regulations
Review and respond to technical queries raised by Client / PMC / Customer
Establish effective and efficient interface between Project Management, Client, Suppliers, Contractors and all other internal and external stake holders
Reviews the contracts thoroughly, identify and resolve discrepancies from original proposal through the initiation of technical queries to projects/client.
Participate in HAZOP study, SIL studies, P&ID review and 3D model review meetings
Able to settle disputes among the team, suppliers and contractors
Monitor and control all key project performance indices against the stipulated targets
Guiding and mentoring trainees and junior engineers
Conduct regular lessons learnt sessions and team meetings
Managing task for preparation of various quality procedures, standards development, updation of workflows and enhancement of department knowhow
Manpower and resource planning including task assignment to project team members of his/her discipline
Regular monitoring of quality, HSE, schedule, quantity and cost aspects of all running projects
Provide clarification and guidance and technical support to construction sites and commissioning engineers to provide startup assistance as required
