| Role Definition | : | Roles at this level are Team members of the project, proposals, Equipment responsible Engrs for less complex equipment. They communicate seamlessly with global entities, suppliers, sub-contractors and within the project teams. This role typically is of "execution" with minimum supervision within the area of work executed as a team member. |
| Key Role & Responsibility | : | • Read and understand the contract specification and prepare technical queries • Prepare I&C concepts and philosophy • Prepare engineering documents and drawings, inquiry and purchase order specifications for various I&C equipment, Prepare process/mechanical/pneumatic/electrical and installation Hook up drawings & documents • Interprets and applies codes & standards and customer design requirements • Review and respond to technical queries raised by Client / PMC / Customer / Other disciplines / Site Teams • Sizing and selection of field instruments, control valves • Coordination with other engineering disciplines and interfaces with internal and external stake holders • Participate in P&ID review, 3D model review and other project review meetings • Reviews other discipline documents like P&IDs, equipment data sheets and equipment engineering drawings, plot plan etc. • Participates in technical meetings with the vendors/suppliers • Technical offer evaluation and preparation of Technical Bid Analysis • Perform vendor drawing and document review including review of inspection and test reports • Participate in final inspection & test of I&C equipment • Work at global project sites for construction support, pre-commissioning and commissioning of PSA projects |

| Education qualification & Experience | : | • B.E/ B.Tech - Instrumentation & Control or Electronics with specialization in Instrumentation • 3 - 7 years of experience |
| Technical Knowledge | : | The candidate should have experience in some of the following listed areas: • Execution of detailed engineering task related to pressure, temperature, flow, level measurements, actuated valves, PLC • Selection and sizing of flow meters and control valves • Prepare drawings and documents for I&C Construction Engineering like I&C Hook-ups, cable and junction box schedule, wiring drawings, bulk MTO, I&C location layout and I&C cable tray layout • Knowledge of International Codes & Standards like ISA, IEE, ISO, DIN, IS • Knowledge of instrumentation engineering software tool like COMOS and Smart Instrumentation is preferred |
