Job Title : Area Lead / Lead Role for Sales of Electrolysers
Department : Business Development & Sales SA
Key Role & Responsibility : -        Understand market requirements for electrolysers, keep track of projects and engage with customers to develop the opportunity-        Carry out consistent assessment of the inquiry / invitation to bid under the given initial conditions -        Manage & coordinate the decision making to quote-        Develop Division of Responsibilities (DoR) with involved entities keeping in view overall competitiveness and project requirements-        Develop bidding strategy, prepare and submit technical & commercial offer to customer within assigned time and allocated budget-        Follow globally aligned sales processes -        In-depth understanding of evaluation criteria for different types of project(s) and match the proposal strategy accordingly-        Conducting important proposal activities like schedule workshop, risk workshop, value engineering, cost review, contractual terms & conditions review, proposal challenge and approval, etc.-     Participate in technical & commercial evaluation with customer and convert the proposal into a successful project award
Additional Responsibility : MS Office, Outlook, MS Projects Optional: GDMS, Sales Force
Education qualification & Experience : B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical engineering from reputed university. MBA in Marketing/Finance preferred, having experience of 10-15 years in similar industries
Technical Knowledge :

-        In-depth technical knowledge of electrolyser product (Alkaline as well as PEM type) including auxiliaries (e.g. water treatment, DeOxo unit etc.)

-        Thorough understanding of Market needs for electrolysers (current and future potential)

-        Prior experience in BD & Sales of electrolysers. Experience of execution of electrolyser is preferred.

-        Basic knowledge of functioning of business development and sales function

-       Understanding of inputs and outputs of various E,P,C functions in the proposal development stage

-        Familiarity with pre-qualification and tendering procedures of local and international clients/PMC’s

-        Familiarity in International codes and standards, International & local PMC requirements
