| Role Definition | : | Roles at this level are leads for a small-sized team, Equipment responsible engineers, leading small areas or leading a project with low complexities. They communicate seamlessly with global entities, suppliers, sub-contractors and within the project teams. This role typically is of "execution" with minimum supervision within the area of work executed as a team member. |
| Key Role & Responsibility | : | • Analyse the contract and examine the relevant scope of work and interfaces• Prepare I&C control system overview, concepts and philosophy with value engineering input related to ICSS• Development of cost-effective, quality and HSE-related concepts and solutions• Interprets and applies codes & standards and customer design requirements• Review and respond to technical queries raised by Client / PMC / Customer/ Site Teams• Ability to understand various control/IPF narratives, cause & effect matrix and logic diagrams from process licensor and convert them into logic and functional schematics• Participate in final inspection & test of ICSS, PLC, F&G Systems• Assign and coordinate and supervise the task of team members assigned within the group• Regular monitoring of quality, HSE, schedule, quantity and cost aspects with change management• Capture lessons and conducts lesson learnt workshop within the department |

| Education qualification & Experience | : | • B.E/ B. Tech - (Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering) • 7 - 10 years of experience |
| Technical Knowledge | : | The candidate should have experience in the following listed areas: • Expert level experience in software programming and configuration, operator HMI, hardware and software bill of materials, and control network architecture for one out of the following three platforms o Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Control Studio 5000 o Siemens PCS 7 / S7 / TIA Portal o Emerson DeltaV DCS and SIS • Experience in SCADA platforms such as GE Intellution iFIX or equivalent will be a plus • Able to work independently and with multiple simultaneous projects • Design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for large industrial facilities • Develop control narratives, IO Index, cause and effects, control logic, and operator graphics for DCS, PLC, BMS systems • Thorough knowledge of Process Automation including design/implementation of complex control strategies, turbo machinery controls, and model predictive control (MPC) • Configure the 3rd party device endpoints using serial, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP or Profibus communication protocols • Participate the in HAZOP, LOPA, and other Safety Lifecycle work processes as outlined in IEC 61511, CFSE Certification is a plus • Manage the interface between vendors and engineering contractors when the work is outsourced to third party integrators and contractors • Assist in preparation of key quantities and estimates of control systems for capital project proposals • Control System architecture and hardware design of Siemens PCS7, Siemens PLC / Rockwell PLC / Emerson Delta V system • Design, program, implement, test and document process control applications. • Develop control system validation/testing protocols. • Asset Management System, Alarm Information Management System, Plant Information Management System, Remote Operation Center • Interface and communication protocols within and around Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) • Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, Loop Check, commissioning assistance • Good knowledge of Functional Safety Life Cycle management acc. to IEC61508/61511, Alarm Management System acc. to IEC 62682/ISA 18.2, NFPA72 |
