| Key Role & Responsibility | : | Functional competency Management of a project at disciplinary level of low to medium complexity and small size project / proposal under close guidance. Responsible for specific task / area as EQR or Area Lead for management of all activities related to his task / area in the project. Creation of adapted solutions based on existing solutions. Prepare quality deliverable within budget, schedule and take full responsibility for the own task and check the deliverables created by others. Contact person with sound knowledge for specific activity / for computational methods within his area. Internal and external co-ordination with other disciplines and vendors / contractors. Leading competency Leading a small to mid sized team of engineers / designers. Internal and external co-ordination with other disciplines, global suppliers, clients / PMC. Representation of the interest of the department to internal stake holders. |

| Education qualification & Experience | : | 1. Bachelor of Mechanical/Production/ Chemical Engineering with 5+ years experience |
| Technical Knowledge | : | The Candidate should have experience in design & engineering of various rotating equipment such as centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pump, vacuum pumps, boiler feed water pump used for refinery, petrochemical & chemical process industry. Experience of handling Pump procurement and detailed engineering and Shop Inspections in EPC business. Preparation of technical specifications for centrifugal pumps and auxiliary equipment like oil systems for petrochemical plants under consideration of process conditions, clients/contractors’ requirements and API. Elaboration of technical evaluation of vendor offers as well as preparation of Technical Bid Tabulation. Detail Engineering with machine vendors and clients as well as in house coordination with all related disciplines like civil, electrical, instrumentation, piping, safety, process engineering, purchasing dept, etc. Mechanical-, functional-, hydraulic and thermodynamic testing of pumps and oil systems in acc. with API, clients/ contractor requirements. Good knowledge of content and use of API Standards 610, 611, 612, 614, 674, 675, 685, 682 Experience in technical calculations for the design and dimensioning of pumps and selection of shaft seal systems based on technical regulations and API Standards. Pressure drop calculation at suction and discharge piping systems of pumps as well as NPSHR and NPSHA calculations acc. to international standards and regulations Implementation of component requirement specifications for the mechanical seal systems & lube oil systems Site experience shall be added advantage. |
