Job Title : Senior Lead Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Role Definition : Roles at this level are Team Leads, leading / managing a team of experienced and entry-level engineers. Teams typically peform similar type of work with diffference in the discipline and nature of projects. This role requires domain expertise of the specific discipline
Key Role & Responsibility : Proposal & Project Execution - Create concepts, execution plans to provide robust technical and cost effective solutions specific to the project / customer - Analyse contract and examine relevant scope and interfaces - Early identification of risks and implement mitigations - Participate in budget and execution schedule review - Estimate cost and concept for proposals - Deliver quality deliverable and control budget and schedule - Develop cost effective, quality and HSE related concepts and solutions - Review critical calculations, specifications, concepts and approve project deliverables - Manage large size, complex project / proposal independently or supervise and manage multiple smaller projects / proposal teams independently Interface Management & Alignment - Co-ordinate with other EN disciplines and functions, vendors, sub-contractors, clients, PMC and entities - Co-ordinate and supervise quality of the the team and external partners - Work with matrix organization ie. reporting to Project/Engineering Managers for project matters and Line Managers for functional matters Development & Continuous Improvement - Contribute towards organizational quality, training and improvement initiatives and implementation in the projects, proposals - Participate as auditee during internal and external process and technical audits and accountable for closure of audit, implementation of preventive and corrective actions - Conduct technical meetings with the department for know-how backflow and lessons learnt People Management - Plan, manage resources including task assignment to project team members within the project - Monitor, coach and develop team to enhance overall capabilities Additional Tasks - Support DH in administrative tasks, recruitment, learning and development, department competency enhancement
Additional Responsibility : Large Project size: MHs - 90,000 to 130,000 / Team Zize - 40+ Mid- Size Projects of high complexity 2 or more small size projects
Education qualification & Experience : 1. Bachelor of Civil Engineering with 15+ years or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 20+ years of experience 2. Master in Civil Engineering and site experience will be an added advantage
Technical Knowledge : - Conceptual design of structure and foundation systems - Preparation of project specifications - Analysis/Design of structures & buildings using STAAD Pro or similar software - Design of open and/or pile foundations for structures & static/dynamic equipments - Knowledge of international codes relevant to civil/structural discipline e.g. AISC, ACI, EN, SNIP etc. - Hands on experience for execution of Russian Region project is highly desirable - Experience with execution of modular project is desirable - Checking drawings, calculations etc. prepared by team members - Experience of managing interfaces with global structural fabricators/ construction contractors. - Sound understanding about discipline technical aspects eg. Geotechnical engineering, Dynamic analysis, Infrastructure design, CAD workflows etc. - Hands on experience in proposal estimation
Preferred SkillSet : - Static analysis and design of RCC/steel structures - Analysis & Design: STAAD Pro or equivalent, Foundation 3D/Mat3D - 3D Modelling review: SPR, Navisworks - Manage outsourcing of engineering packages - Leadership skills to manage large size project team
