Job Title / Position : Travel & Expense Executive (German Language Specialist)

Description : The T&E Executive is responsible for managing most aspects of the travel and entertainment expense processing for Linde Germany operations and will own the more complex areas of the process. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Linde global travel policy and will work closely with the T&E expense specialist.The person must be a team player that will work together with the T&E teams across geographies and also support global Finance Operations processing, reconciliation, reporting, and auditing of all expense reports. This role will also support Global Compliance and other stakeholders with ad-hoc reporting and data requirements and miscellaneous support
Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience.
Technical / Subject Knowledge :
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with previous supervisory experience a plus Minimum 2 years of Travel and Expense experience.
  • SAP and/Strong Microsoft Excel experience required.
  • Experience managing a corporate credit card program preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and German is must to have
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
Skill Sets :

Experience of working in a shared service center will be added advantage.

Valid Passport having validity of at least 2 years.

Software Tools & Technology : SAP and/Strong Microsoft Excel experience required.
Key Role & Responsibility :
  • Challenge and improve the IT environment to enhance efficiency and control.
  • Leverage knowledge across global T&E teams to deliver effective, efficient and consistent services to business customers.
  • Ensure the correct KPIs are measured to drive cost effectiveness and control.
  • Drive improvements in KPIs.
  • Handle the more complex areas of the T&E process and ensure control and compliance standards are maintained.
  • Handle Delegation of Authority requests and maintenance.
  • Own the corporate credit card program, ensuring that cards are issued / cancelled / suspended as appropriate and credit limits in place.
  • Provide training to users on the T&E process and proactively enhance knowledge of the process across the business.
  • Participate in processes and controls to ensure segregation of duties and adequate senior review is properly executed,  including the completion of appropriate reconciliations and chasing and education of business users in relation to non- compliance with the processes.
  • Assist with processing to ensure that delivery deadlines and customer service standards are consistently met.
