Job Title / Position : Lead Engineer –Static Equipment
Department : Static Equipment and Package Units
Educational Qualifications : B.E (Mechanical)
Technical / Subject Knowledge :
  • Wide experience in design of static equipment like heat exchangers , pressure vessels ,  and special equipment like silencers, filters etc
  • Handled  one or two  jobs minimum as Lead Engineer in previous organisations.
  • Project co-ordination for the Static Equipment in the sense of "Complete Responsibility for Equipment"
  • Co-ordinate with Team members for Kick off meeting , Vendor drawing review, Pre Inspection meeting , functional Inspection
  • Technical, cost and delivery time responsibility for Static Equipment
  • Proposal handling for man hour estimate and hardware cost estimate
Skill Sets :
  • Experience in handling
  • Pressure Vessels / Adsorbers / Reactors
  • Shell & Tube heat exchangers
  • Storage Tanks
  • Special equipment like filters / silencers /Plate &Frame heat exchangers /Ejectors
  • Codes and Standards:
  • ASME, EN 13445, API 650, API 660, API 661, API 662, TEMA, PED 
Software Tools & Technology : Computer skills: Mandatory: MS-Office-Programs, PVElite / Microprotol Advantageous: AutoCAD, Document management system, Redlining
Targeted Industries : EPC firm in oil & gas is preferred
Key Role & Responsibility :
  • Analyse the contract and examine the relevant scope of work and interface
  • Participate in detailed budget and detail execution schedule
  • Develop the project deliverables 
  • Prepare the department execution plan and specific technical requirements for the project
  • To review / approve project documents / deliverables (like Mechanical Datasheet, Technical Specifications, Technical Bid Tabulations, and Vendor Documents).
  • Coordinate and ensure input needed from other disciplines and engineering partners.
  • To report to the Project Manager and Functional Manager on changes, non-conformities, developments etc.
  • Participate in the employee deployment management for their project team
  • Manage the project team by setting targets for the relevant scope of work
  • Promote good communication and encourage team spirit and team work
  • Technical Inspection at vendor workshops to ensure required quality and delivery time.
  • To compile the project close-out report for their discipline.
Soft Skills :

Should be good at communication in English with good leadership skills and should be able to handle a team of people efficiently.
