Job Title / Position : Engineer - Spare Parts Management (for Digital Portal)
Department : Spare Parts Management
Educational Qualifications : B.E/ B.Tech - Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical
Technical / Subject Knowledge :
  • Experience in Initial spare parts execution, Turn Around planning, Shut down Maintenance and repair of ASU/HYCO/PC Plants
  • Able to retrieve Material Master Data from SAP and or relevant plant maintenance software
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment used in the oil and gas industries. Able to identify parts and alternate solutions
  • Able to read Equipment detailed drawings to select spares requirements for new and existing equipment
  • Basic knowledge of P&ID drawing, knowledge of Piping relevant software is added benefit
  • Able to identify latest material standards for already expired material standards. Knowledge of international standards is added benefit
  • Basic knowledge and overview of Procurement, Logistics & Expediting procedures and workflows
  • Global Supplier knowledge is advantageous 
  • Quotation preparation and spare parts costing experience
Software Tools & Technology : Knowledge of SAP / Material Master Data, Good in MS Office, PDF Editing Experience in large data base handling & management
Targeted Industries : Oil & Gas plants
Key Role & Responsibility :
  • Extraction of Plant maintenance spare parts data from Operation tools and software
  • Analyze and modify existing spare parts data for tag number identification, mapping with P&ID & removal of duplicate spares
  • Upload and update spare parts data in LINDE PLANTSERV Portal
  • Analyze inquiries received from Clients for reference data like Specifications, Part Number, Linde Ident number and original supplier
  • Communication & expediting Global Vendors for spare parts quotations
  • Technical verification & finalization of quotations submitted by Vendors 
  • Uploading in Portal / forwarding to Client
  • Procurement, expediting, goods handover & Client interface management

Excellent written and spoken communication (English) skills. Positive attitude & approach, Team player with good interpersonal skills, Independent, self-starter. Able to operate in multi-disciplinary environment. Cross cultural communication sensitivity. Willingness to learn and grow. Patience and passionate.
